my favourite things to do are photographing people, travelling, growing things, scuba diving and skiing (and most creative or crafty things).
I grew up in Sutton Coldfield and now live in Lichfield with my Husband Mark.
I fell in love with photography after taking a class as part of my university course and instantly knew it was what I wanted to do. Originally I wanted to be a Camera Operator for the BBC, but Photography won.
Things you may not know about me:
~ I have a degree in Media Production, specialising in Photography.
~ I’ve been working as a professional photographer since 2008, and started my own business in 2013.
~ I’ve been lucky enough to win over 30 gold awards with the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, including the ‘Photographer of the year’ award in the families and groups category.
~ My work has been published in several magazines including Professional Image maker, Lux, and Lots for tots magazines.
When I started my business, my goal was to create natural photographs which capture glimpses of people’s personalities. I think I've been pretty good at that so far but I'm always learning :)
I am most definitely a people person. Getting to know so many different people is a highlight of my job. I love children and find them equally fascinating and hilarious. I’m incredibly grateful to be able to make a living doing something I love so much.
